Staking as a long-term vision

Staking allows you to earn FAR passively through automatic compounding. When staking FAR you receive sFAR(staked FAR) will be awarded every epoch (8 hours) according to the current APY.

In Farawaythe overrun is every 8 hours, this generates a greater compounding effect.

APY: indicates the annualized rate of return based on the yield. Consider that the effect on the sFAR token is exponential.

When you Stake your FAR tokens they are locked and you receive an equivalent amount in sFAR. Your sFAR balance is automatically updated at the end of each epoch.
